Aisha Finlay-Bowen is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in Nevada, she holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Nevada, Reno. She has been working directly with clients for over 25 years, with her clinical focus centering on the intersection of long-term grief and complex trauma.
Her Approach
Aisha works with adults and elders, including single mothers, women navigating pregnancy and postpartum, and individuals managing high-functioning anxiety, ADHD, or depression while holding down full lives. She also supports clients who are processing workplace stress or chronic anger that has started to affect their relationships and sense of self.
Her pace is steady and unhurried. Aisha draws on a wide range of methods, from CBT and DBT to IFS and somatic-informed work. She understands serious mental health presentations and levels of care in ways that inform how she works, even when the presenting concerns are not acute. Clients tend to describe her as someone who makes it easier to say the things that feel hardest to say.
