- Student Counseling Program
Student Counseling Program students are graduate students training in fields such as social work, clinical professional counseling, marriage and family therapy, and psychiatric nursing. This may include MSW, CPC, MFT, and NP students. As part of their training, they work with clients under the close supervision of a licensed clinical professional. The licensed supervisor teaches them basic counseling skills, helps them discuss cases, and may record sessions—with your permission—so the student can learn and improve.
This program does not provide therapy. Instead, it offers support to help you learn healthy coping and communication skills, adjust to life changes, and connect with community resources or case management services if needed.
