Phoenix Lorcher holds a Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (MFTI) in Nevada. She has been working with clients since 2003, focusing on anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, and questions of life direction.
Her Approach
Phoenix works with teenagers, adults, and older adults. Her clients often arrive feeling stuck: in a relationship that won’t move forward, in a version of themselves they’ve outgrown, or in a pattern of worry they can’t seem to talk themselves out of. She works well with people who are willing to reflect between sessions and try things differently during the week.
Phoenix draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Family Systems approaches. Many of her clients come in carrying something they have not been able to say out loud yet, and she has a way of making that easier without pushing. She is direct when it serves the client, and patient when it doesn’t.
