Jessica practices in Nevada as a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern and holds a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Mount Saint Mary’s University. As a family therapist in Nevada, she offers telehealth sessions in English and Spanish for teens, adults, and older adults working through family conflict, divorce, and relationship strain.
Her Approach
Jessica works with teens, adults, and people well into retirement, and a lot of who ends up in her office got there because someone else pushed for it: a partner who said therapy or nothing, or a parent who booked the appointment for their teenager. She also sees couples untangling an affair, and parents trying to co-parent with someone they can barely talk to anymore.
In the room, Jessica treats whoever showed up as capable of being honest, even the one who didn’t want to come. She slows a fight down enough that both people can hear what’s underneath it instead of just defending their side. Sessions run in English or Spanish, so nobody has to search for the right word in a language that isn’t the one they think in.
