Edward holds a Registered Nurse license and works as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in Nevada, board certified as a PMHNP-BC. He completed his psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner training at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2022 and focuses on psychiatric care for teens, adults, and older adults.
His Approach
Edward works with teens, adults, and adults over 65, and each visit starts with what brought you in, whether that is months of poor sleep or a teenager who has gone quiet at home. With teens, he talks to them directly and brings parents in when it helps. With adults over 65, he takes his time so every question gets answered.
Edward asks what you want to change before he suggests anything, and he lets you explain how things got here in your own words. He sees individuals and families, so a spouse or a parent can join your visit when that helps. Together you set goals in plain terms, and each visit goes back to them. He also speaks Tagalog.
