Luisa Martinez-Cruz is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Nevada and South Carolina, with over 10 years of clinical experience. She is also a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Nevada. Her practice centers on trauma, complex grief, substance use concerns, and the relational patterns that keep people stuck.
Luisa’s Approach
Luisa works with adults and older adults, often people navigating divorce, recovering from domestic violence or emotional abuse, or sorting through grief that has gone unaddressed for years. Many of her clients are women who have spent so long managing conflict or caring for others that they have lost the thread of who they are.
She also works with bilingual and bicultural clients and conducts full assessments and therapy in English and Spanish.
She works at a pace that allows patterns to surface clearly, so clients understand not just what happened but how it shaped the way they move through relationships now. She brings directness and warmth in equal measure. Her goal in any given session is to move from recognizing something to knowing what to do with it.
