Jennifer Hubbert, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Nevada with more than 17 years of experience supporting adults, couples, and families.
Before becoming a therapist, Jennifer built a successful career in the performing arts, touring internationally as a dancer and working in Broadway productions. Later, she shifted her focus to health and wellness as a massage therapist, and eventually pursued psychology and counseling. She earned both her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her Master of Arts in Counseling and Educational Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno. She became fully licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2008.
Her clinical experience includes working in acute psychiatric hospitals, community clinics, and employee assistance programs, where she facilitated anger management and domestic violence groups while also building a private practice. Over the years, she has helped clients facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, OCD, grief, infidelity, relationship concerns, self-esteem struggles, chronic pain, stress, and suicidal thoughts.
Jennifer works with adults from diverse racial, cultural, and social backgrounds. She is allied with LGBTQ+ communities, veterans, sex workers, and individuals committed to body positivity and vegan lifestyles.
She draws from multiple evidence-based and experiential methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Schema Therapy, Gestalt, the Gottman Method, and trauma-focused interventions. Her goal is to help clients strengthen relationships, develop coping skills, and find greater stability and fulfillment in their daily lives.
