She has extensive experience working with diverse populations within the Las Vegas community. Her background includes providing support to individuals experiencing homelessness, sex workers—both consensual and non-consensual—as well as incarcerated individuals. Additionally, she has specialized in working with children from 2018 to the present, helping them to cope with trauma and behavioral issues within academic settings. She currently sees clients ages 14 and older.
This rich experience has equipped Cherie with a deep understanding of trauma, mood disorders, and parenting-related challenges. She is committed to delivering mental health services from a strength-based perspective, collaborating with clients to empower them with the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance their self-worth and navigate life’s challenges. Cherie is devoted to fostering resilience and supporting individuals throughout their personal growth and recovery process.
What sets Cherie apart is her refusal to pathologize survival strategies. She meets clients where they are, whether that’s in crisis, incarceration, housing instability, or simply trying to parent through their own unprocessed trauma.
