Adam Horvath is a Texas-based Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides telehealth counseling for adults and older adults. He specializes in anxiety, trauma and PTSD, identity shifts, major life transitions, depression, stress, men’s concerns, and gender-related care (including gender dysphoria and gender transitioning).
He earned his Master of Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2022 and works with adults facing anxiety, depression, relationship strain, and the effects of trauma.
His Approach
Adam works with adults who have started to question how they see themselves. They may struggle to follow through on goals, pull away from relationships, or make choices that undo progress they had already made. Underneath that, there is often a belief that they do not deserve things to work out, which makes change harder to sustain.
In session, Adam keeps the work focused and active. He does not stay only at the level of insight. He helps clients look at how their thoughts, emotions, and actions connect, then works with them to change how those patterns play out in real situations. His style is direct without being rigid, with an emphasis on doing something different between sessions so progress is not limited to the conversation.
