Shane is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Nevada and has spent the past 8 years working with teens, adults, and families, focusing on trauma, anxiety, and crisis situations that disrupt daily life. He earned his Master of Arts in Counseling with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Nevada, Reno.
Shane’s Approach
Shane works with preteens ages 10 to 12, teens ages 13 to 19, and adults up to age 64. Many of the people he sees are trying to keep up with school, work, or family life while past experiences continue to shape how they react and cope. His work often fits families seeking teen counseling through telehealth, especially when a young person feels stuck in patterns that keep repeating.
In session, Shane focuses on how those moments unfold. Instead of starting with advice, he slows things down and helps clients track what happens right before a reaction takes over or everything shuts down. From there, the work becomes practical. Clients learn how to interrupt that sequence and respond in a way that holds outside the session. His style is steady and direct, which makes it easier to talk about things people usually avoid.
