Licensed Clinical Social Worker Christina Lopez offers individual therapy for adolescents and adults. She previously served as an Intake Counselor (LMSW, CSW-), collaborating with a treatment team to assess the medical necessity for admissions involving acute psychiatric and medical detox patients.
Christina obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Addiction Treatment Services from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2016. She specializes in areas such as addiction, alcohol use, anger management, borderline personality (BDP), and drug abuse. Her expertise extends to Oppositional Defiance (ODD), Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), and Solution Focused Brief (SFBT) therapies.
Approaching her practice with a lens of multicultural awareness and a commitment to social justice and equity, Christina is attuned to the needs of diverse communities, including Hispanic and Latino, Native American, and LGBTQ+ populations. In 2020, she earned a Master of Social Work in Adult and Mental Health and Wellness from the University of Southern California. During her internship at Volunteers of America Restart, she provided crisis intervention, case management, and community outreach to homeless individuals.
