Chelsea Pigeon holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University and is licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in both Florida, Virginia and Nevada. She has been working with clients since 2020, with a clinical focus on OCD, trauma, and relationship issues.
Her Approach
Many of Chelsea’s clients are people who have already tried to figure things out on their own. They are thoughtful, often high-achieving, and genuinely ready to change, but they keep running into the same thought patterns or relationship dynamics no matter what they do. She has a particular affinity for young adults moving through major life changes and clients who are neurodiverse.
Chelsea draws from EMDR for trauma, Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD, and the Gottman Method for couples work. She takes a collaborative approach, meaning clients have a real say in what the goals are and how the work unfolds. She is supportive and affirming, and she will also challenge the patterns that are keeping things stuck.

- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) — A structured trauma therapy with strong clinical evidence behind it.
