Rose holds a Master of Science in Counseling from Divine Mercy University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Capella University. She has been practicing as a Clinical Professional Counseling Intern licensed in Nevada since 2022, with three years of clinical experience centered on faith-integrated counseling, anxiety, depression, and developmental support for children and older adults.
Her Approach
Rose works with children ages 7 to 12 using play therapy, expressive arts, and music therapy because those methods reach kids in ways that sitting and talking rarely does. For children managing ADHD or autism, she also incorporates parent training so that the work that happens in session carries into daily life at home and school.
With adults 50 and older, Rose integrates faith-based approaches alongside Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Gestalt methods to address anxiety, depression, and the loss of connection that can build quietly over time. Her Catholic faith shapes how she understands the whole person, and she welcomes clients who want their beliefs to be part of the conversation.
Rose is a grandmother of seven, a cat lover, a cook, and someone who will challenge you to a video game and mean it. Clients have called her a big sister and a grandma, she considers both a compliment.
