Nancy holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and is licensed in Nevada as a Clinical Social Work Intern. She has been practicing since 2021, with focused clinical experience in ADHD evaluation and treatment, perinatal mental health, and the psychological impact of living with chronic or rare illness. She works with clients ages 15 and older.
Her Approach
Nancy works with teens navigating school and social pressure, women processing infertility, birth trauma, or postpartum depression and anxiety, and adults and children managing chronic illness, rare disease, or cancer. Each of these situations carries its own specific kind of exhaustion, and Nancy knows the difference between them.
Nancy works with postpartum anxiety and birth trauma using CBT and Motivational Interviewing, approaches that give structure to what can feel like total chaos. What clients notice first is that Nancy does not rush, she is calm in a way that is not performative but simply consistent, and that consistency makes it easier to say the things that are hard to say. Teens in particular respond to her.
She has been described as “motherly”, which in her case means she takes them seriously without making them feel studied. She asks the kind of questions that help people figure out what they actually want.
