Jan Coleman, MFT-Intern, provides therapy in Nevada for children, teens, adults, families, and older adults. She works with clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, and life transitions.
With more than 17 years of ministry and advocacy experience, Jan has supported individuals and families through crisis, adolescent treatment, and community outreach. Her leadership in anti-trafficking efforts included close work with law enforcement, nonprofits, and community partners to provide support for survivors and promote systemic change.
She is committed to serving underserved youth and BIPOC communities, addressing the complex challenges that arise where culture, mental health, and social justice intersect. She also works with women and families, providing counseling that reflects both clinical training and a strong commitment to dignity and care.
Jan integrates a variety of therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy, Family Systems, Trauma-Focused care, Expressive Arts, and Christian counseling when requested. Her sessions are designed to help clients strengthen coping skills, improve relationships, and navigate the effects of stress, trauma, or transitions.
