About

Coraleigh Bales

Coraleigh is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Nevada and California, licensed since 2021 and currently pursuing her Doctorate in Counseling Psychology. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Nevada, Reno. Her clinical work spans preteens, teens, and adults across a wide range of settings, from youth and family services to acute crisis care, with a focus on anxiety, trauma, depression, and eating disorders.

Her Approach

Coraleigh works with preteens, teens, and adults, including LGBTQ+ individuals, veterans, and clients navigating eating disorders, dual diagnosis, and the particular disorientation of major life transitions. She connects well with clients who are thoughtful about their own inner life but have not yet had the right structure to work through it.

Sessions with Coraleigh are collaborative and paced to the individual. Many of her clients are high-functioning on the outside while quietly managing something that has been building for years, whether that is anxiety that never fully quiets, a sense of self-worth that keeps slipping, or a relationship with food or sleep that has stopped feeling manageable. Clients who want a therapist with both clinical rigor and genuine warmth tend to find her a good fit.

Clinical Expertise

  • Eating Disorders and Body Image: Working with teens and adults managing anorexia, disordered eating, and the self-worth patterns that drive them.
  • Psychological Testing and Evaluation: Assessing preteens, teens, and adults for conditions that have gone undiagnosed or misdiagnosed, adding clinical clarity to complex presentations.
  • Acute Crisis Care: Working with individuals at high-acuity moments, including suicidal ideation and psychosis, across youth and adult populations.
  • LGBTQ+ Affirming Therapy: Working with bisexual, transgender, non-binary, and queer clients in a setting where identity is treated as context, not complication.
  • Christian Counseling: Integrating faith into the therapeutic process for clients who want their spiritual values present in their care.
