Chelsie Cadena is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in Nevada who works with families where the same issues appear across generations—parents seeing their childhood anxiety in their children, emotional regulation problems that run through the family, or relationship patterns everyone recognizes but can’t change.
She earned her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide in 2024 and has been licensed in Nevada since February 2025. Her MFT training focuses on family systems, which means she addresses the patterns and dynamics that create problems.
Chelsie works with clients from age 4 through older adults. She treats anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, behavioral issues, and parenting challenges through both family sessions and individual therapy. She uses attachment-based therapy to examine how early family relationships affect current behavior and DBT to teach emotional regulation skills that weren’t modeled in previous generations.
As a Latina therapist, Chelsie works with Hispanic and Latino families. She provides therapy for single mothers, LGBTQ+ affirming care, and addresses how cultural expectations affect family dynamics. She sees families together and individuals separately depending on what each situation needs.
