Keante Marshall holds a Master of Arts in Marital and Family Therapy from the California School of Professional Psychology and is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (MFTI) in Nevada. Since 2023, he has focused on trauma, anxiety, and depression in children and adolescents ages 6 to 18, alongside adults and families working through relational and mood-related concerns.
His Approach
Many of the children and teens Keante works with are carrying something their words have not caught up to yet. A parent may notice their child pulling away, acting out, or shutting down and beneath that behavior is usually something unprocessed: a difficult experience, a loss, a shift in the family, or chronic stress that has built up over time. Keante works with the child and the family together when needed.
Keante’s work is rooted in a humanistic foundation, meaning he prioritizes the relationship before the technique. He draws from TF-CBT for trauma, DBT and ACT for emotional regulation, and EFT for relational work. He is flexible and grounded, and clients tend to describe him as someone who makes them feel stabilized without making the work feel clinical or stiff.
