Judy Nicholson holds a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and has been practicing since 2021 as a Certified Professional Counselor Intern in Nevada. Her clinical work focuses on anxiety, trauma, and learning disabilities.
Her Approach
Judy works with adults 18 and older, including adults 65 and up. Most come in feeling like the same problems keep returning: difficulty staying organized, trouble communicating what they need, or a pattern of letting boundaries slide until something gives. Some are mid-career and questioning where they are headed. Others have spent years working around a learning disability without ever getting real tools for it.
What clients notice about Judy is that she is straightforward without being cold. She pays close attention, asks the kind of questions that help people figure out what they actually want, and does not let sessions drift into vague territory. She has the patience to stay with a problem across as many attempts as it takes, and the persistence to keep adjusting until something works. People who have felt talked at by other providers tend to find her approach a relief.
