Dawn Montgomery is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in Nevada, completing her clinical training under supervision. She earned her Master of Science in Couple and Family Therapy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2024 and works with adults and couples facing anxiety, grief, and relationship strain.
Dawn’s Approach
Dawn works with adults, including older adults, who feel stuck in cycles that are hard to interrupt. Thoughts repeat, decisions circle back, and even small situations can carry more weight than expected. Some clients are dealing with a loss tied to pregnancy or a shift in their life that changed more than they anticipated.
In session, Dawn focuses on how clients understand their own experiences. She helps them look at the stories they carry about themselves and where those patterns began, then connects that insight to what is happening in their daily life. Conversations are open and steady, with room to speak freely without feeling rushed or redirected. At the same time, she brings in practical ways to help clients work through difficult thoughts and emotions so changes are not limited to the session.
