Percy Ford, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor who has been practicing since 2007. He works with adults facing anger, addiction, and relationship conflict and serves clients in Nevada, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Minnesota, Maine, and Vermont. He earned his Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Argosy University School of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences and has a background in social work from Tuskegee University.
His Approach
Percy works with adults 21 and older. Many of the men he sees feel cut off from support and carry frustration that shows up in their relationships, decisions, and daily interactions. Some are dealing with repeated conflict at home or work. Others are tired of patterns they can see clearly but have not been able to change.
In session, Percy is direct. He does not soften what needs to be addressed or let clients avoid what is right in front of them. He pays attention to where someone is being honest and where they are not, then brings that into the conversation in a way that is clear and grounded. His style has structure and accountability. Clients who stay with the process tend to gain a clearer view of their decisions and more control over how they respond, especially in the kind of situations that used to escalate quickly.
