Percy Ford, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor serving clients in Nevada, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Minnesota, Maine, and Vermont. He provides therapy for adults, individuals, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and substance use.
Percy earned his Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Tuskegee University in 1997 and his Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Argosy University School of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences in 2007. In 2012, he established Lighthouse Correctional Counseling and Mental Health Services to provide individual psychotherapy, couples counseling, family counseling, and group therapy, with a particular focus on supporting offenders and their families.
He works with adults experiencing challenges such as grief, anger, substance abuse, mood disorders, and personality disorders, as well as those navigating divorce, infertility, men’s issues, and self-esteem struggles. His practice also includes support for clients dealing with domestic abuse, sexual abuse, and complex trauma.
Percy’s methods include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered therapy, and Psychodynamic approaches.
