Mary is an MFT practicum student completing her master’s degree at National University, working with clients under licensed supervision as part of her clinical training. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Welfare from the University of Washington Tacoma.
Her Approach
Mary works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She’s particularly skilled with people navigating anxiety, handling major life transitions, or working through relationship challenges—whether that’s building connection, repairing trust, or figuring out what they want moving forward.
Mary brings genuine curiosity and respect into the room. She takes time to understand your specific situation before moving forward, and she uses Narrative Therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy to help uncover new perspectives on what’s been stuck. She is actively affirming with LGBTQ+ clients and brings deep respect for people from all backgrounds.
Her Clinical Training
- Narrative Therapy, learning to help clients shift how they see their own stories and possibilities
- Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), training in attachment-informed work with couples and families
- Supervised clinical practice, gaining experience in individual, couples, and family therapy modalities
