About

Joseph Printchett II

Joseph Printchett II is a licensed mental health professional with a lifelong commitment to service, healing, and cultural advocacy. Raised on a small reservation in northern Nevada, Joseph’s values of resilience and community were strengthened through his service in the U.S. Navy, where he discovered his passion for counseling.

He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from San Diego State University while serving in the military, and later completed his Doctorate in Social Work at the University of Southern California. Joseph has supported veterans, students with disabilities, and underserved communities through his work in higher education and mental health.

He is the creator of The Medicine Blanket Project, a culturally grounded intervention blending Western therapy with traditional American Indian healing practices. Joseph is dedicated to helping individuals heal, grow, and thrive through inclusive, client-centered care.
