Dwayne Rogers is a passionate and committed mental health professional with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Science in Counseling from Fresno State, with a concentration in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling. With a background rooted in both academic rigor and real-world clinical experience, Dwayne is driven by the purpose of helping individuals heal, grow, and reclaim their lives.
Throughout his career, Dwayne has worked in a range of mental health settings—supporting at-risk youth, troubled teens, and individuals in psychiatric units dealing with mental health and substance use challenges. He brings a compassionate and grounded presence to each space he enters, meeting clients where they are and guiding them toward meaningful progress.
Dwayne has led group therapy sessions for individuals who have experienced complex and severe trauma. His therapeutic approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), with a strong emphasis on helping clients understand how their emotional states shape behavior. His goal is to equip each individual with tools for self-awareness, emotional regulation, and personal empowerment.
In addition to his clinical work, Dwayne has contributed to research focused on children with autism and was honored with a community-based scholarship for his advocacy and service to at-risk youth. Looking ahead, he aspires to open a private practice dedicated to supporting individuals facing depression, anxiety, and the ongoing effects of trauma.
Dwayne creates an inclusive, affirming, and client-centered space where all are welcomed and respected—regardless of background, identity, or experience. He believes that healing begins when we feel seen, heard, and valued, and he is committed to walking alongside each person on their path toward wholeness.
“In life, we are all on our own individual journey as we strive to meet a higher purpose.”
Until your journey brings you here—stay inspired, elevate, and grow.
