Deidria Hagerman is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in Las Vegas who specializes in couples therapy, family conflict, and domestic violence.
She earned her Master of Science in Counseling with a focus in Marriage, Family and Child Therapy from University of Phoenix in 2013 and has spent over a decade working with individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship breakdowns and abuse.
Deidria’s strength is her extensive experience treating domestic violence within family systems. She understands how abuse affects primary victim and the entire family structures, and she uses the Gottman Method for couples work alongside structural family therapy to address power dynamics and communication patterns that enable violence. Her work helps families determine whether relationships can be repaired safely or whether separation is necessary for wellbeing.
Beyond domestic violence work, Deidria treats borderline personality disorder, dissociative disorders, and dual diagnosis cases where mental health and relationship dysfunction intersect. She works with adults and older adults experiencing suicidal ideation, self-harm, codependency, and the stress of managing severe mental health conditions while maintaining relationships.
As a Black therapist, Deidria provides culturally informed care to African American, Asian, and Hispanic and Latino communities. She uses solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and Internal Family Systems approaches for individuals and families working through trauma, grief, and major life transitions.
